Deep in the Ganesh Himal there are few trekkers. This is the realm of the Tamang, one of the largest ethnic hill tribes of Nepal. A mere 70kms from Kathmandu the villages of the Ganesh Himal preserve a traditional way of life. One of the best treks in central Nepal it walks through the lower, warmer regions leading to the south face of Ganesh Himal, the realm of the Tamang.
